IMHO the 360 has the best games line up for 2010 including: Halo: Reach, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Alan Wake, etc.  You forgot to mention Mass Effect 2(console exclusive) and Crack down 2(exclusive)- two games that will not be on the PS3. The Wii has Super Mario Galaxy 2 and a New Zelda game.

Multiplatform games in 2010 include FFXIII launched in the west along with Bioshock 2.

PS3 only has God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5  and Heavy Rain and  I would not hold my breath on M.A.G.(hardcore online only game) or Agent(never heard of that game) they are unproven games. FFXIII Versus and FF XIV may not arrive in 2010.

Natal is the 360s secret weapon in 2010. Oh it also has upcoming price cuts that will further attract more consumers especially the lower end of the market when the Arcade 360 hits the $149 in 2010.

Alan Wake is also unproven and i dont believe you have not heard of Agent.

As for me i think Sony will take the first three months then Sony and MS will run neck and neck for the rest of the year.

Alan Wake has as much chance or probably more chance of being successful than Heavy Rain on PS3. New IPs are unproven. By the looks of things Alan Wake looks a lot more appealing than Heavy Rain. Issues have been raised in articles regarding Heavy Rain's game play but I have not heard much bad press on Alan Wake. Both Heavy Rain and Alan Wake screen shots look impressive from a visual stand point. But we can not solely judge games on their visuals.

I do agree with you in your main point (truly)

I just want to point out that even if Alan Wake is not directly released on PC, the "first lover" community is ... on PC meaning that a lot of people were expecting AW to be on PC too before it becomes Xbox360 only. so depending of "port or not port" policy it is hard to comment on AW success.

By the way, same goes for ME2 even if is a proven IP it will also be released on PC. IMO, I could play ME and ME2 without getting a 360.

I m wonefring if it is true for Splinter cell .... checking .... it is also PC/360 game ...

That does not change that the 360 line up is really on par with the PS3 one for early 2010 if you take away GT5 because of his "big brand impact"

No I don't, I defend the 360 when it needs defending, I just find it amazing that people (not you necessarily) seem to be blind to the fact that the 360 isn't the console that's in the best shape for 2010. It's also strange that people talk about the 360 having the best quality games when that is very subjective and if anybody brings up the number of PS3 games that were above 85 or 90 on metacritic in comparison to the 360, they'll say something like 'you can't trust reviewers' or 'game quality is subjective' (seems this can be used both ways).

Well, if you look at the numbers, the VAST majority of the PC/360 titles are almost 360 exclusives, concerning the sales.
I mean, look at CoDMW2, the console numbers are destroying the PC sales (due to piracy of course).
So, for the company, either you play or not a pirated copy on your PC (I don't speak about YOU in particular, it's a general argument) doesn't make much of a difference.
These PC/360 titles, almost act as if they are 360 exclusives in the sales department.

Definitely better than 2009.

And you can be as subjective as you wish, but the 360 2010 lineup is amazing.

I m not sure it is true for every game

For MW2, a very mainstream FPS : TRUE

but is it true for L4D or L4D2 ? steam say me NO

is it true for Mass Effect ? I m not sure too ...

If you put away MW2, I m not sure we can really consider that "the console numbers are destroying the PC sales"

Halo:Reach will sell more ltd copies than Gran Turismo 5. Halo series is now the biggest exclusive non-Wii console brand name this generation. Halo:ODST released last September an expansion pack has sold around 4 million and counting. Halo 3 sold over 10.5 million and counting. Gran turismo 5: prologue released early 2008 has sold below 4 million.  Gran Turismo series was big on PS1/2 but the market has changed this generation. FPS games have taken over.

"Console exclusive" is the key phrase: Mass effect 2, Splinter Cell: conviction and Alan Wake will actually sell more genuine copies on the 360 than the PC.  PC gaming is plagued by bootleg copies and you have to have a fairly powerful machine to run the latest games these days.

TheSource has joined the usual bandwagon of trolls, lol. Doesn't matter what the trolls have to say, I'll let the numbers (Metacritic and sales) speak for themselves.

Currently playing on PS3: God of War III

Currently playing on Xbox360: Final Fantasy XIII

Currently playing on NDS: Chrono Trigger

Hmm...Natal is gamble...Just like blu-ray...Hmm.

Take my love, take my land..
