If it weren't for the reviews some of you wouldn't have even noticed the difference |
Agreed. And Ill be picking up a copy for PS3 as i enjoyed the demo too.
"Though frame rate issues, frequent and extended load times, and less-crisp graphics make the PlayStation 3 version inferior to its Xbox 360 counterpart, it is nonetheless still a very enjoyable experience." - Gamespot 8.0 score.
Since when is an +8.0 game not good enough these days? The media spoiled you all by throwing around +9.0 scores everywhere lol.
...Didnt Dragon Age have a less score for 360 than the PS3? Yet its selling over 500k more than the PS3 version. Seems like 360 owners knows how NOT TO pass up on a good game regardless of being 'inferior' lol

"Unfortunately, the PS3 port of Bayonetta is a very disappointing piece of software. I love Bayonetta -- just look at my review of the 360 version for proof. But Bayonetta on the PS3 is a whole different beast."
"Although Bayonetta has more than a few similarities to Devil May Cry, I believe that this game is worth playing... but it's hard to recommend the PS3 version when the 360 version is so much better. Even when you consider the fantastic combat system, the slowdown and load times really do spoil the fun." IGN PS3 version 8.2 score (360 version 9.5 score)
It's not that 8.0 isn't good enough, it's just that if you have a choice (own both a PS3 and 360) then the 360 version is the better option.
As for Dragon Age:Origins, I'm a 360 owner(as well as PS3), but I passed on the 360 version in order to get the better version on PC. It was better and less expensive as well, a double bonus!
