I have always been a fan of Nintendo but this gen may be my last Nintendo gen...

In 1996 I got a N64 for Christmas(I was a little kid) and was introduced to games for the first time. My cousins had a N64 and a PS1 so when I went over their house I would play both. The N64 was my main console that gen for sure with probably about 92% of me playing games that gen was on the N64 with about 8% going to the PS1.(% are estamated) When gen 2(My 2nd gen) came I didn't want anything to do with the DreamCast and I didn't even know the Xbox was around(??? I feel stupid) leaving only the Gamecube and PS2 as options. I picked the G.C as my console and My cousins got a G.C and a PS2 with my brother also getting a PS2. My game time with gen 2 probably went with the Xbox getting 0%, The PS2 getting 3% and the G.C getting the other 97%.(% Estamated) With Gen 3(Now) I was(Am) older and knew about all 3 consoles and what they did. For the 3rd time in a row I went with Nintendo and got a Wii while my older brother got a 360 and my younger brother got a PS3. One of my cousins got a PS3 while the other got a 360 and they both share the Wii. This has been the 1st Gen ever where my family hasn't been only/mostly Nintendo with my family(Including cousins) having 2 of each console over all.(Wii is the only one I have) My game time spent on each console so far this gen has been like this:(Again Estamated)

360-3%(Left 4 dead takes like 2.4% of it)

PS3-16%(LBP takes about 10% of it)

Wii-81%(S.S.B.B takes about 24% of it)

As you can see Microsoft is still way down but that is because I am not aloud to play my brothers 360 and my cousin has only 1 player games(L4D and Halo 3 are the only 2 player games and I don't like Halo much) so we can't play together and he plays it. Sony is up a lot with the only games I play being LBP and RE5 and I play LBP a lot. Nintendo is down a lot but still high as it is the only console I own. I don't play Wii as much as I did with the N64 and G.C.

I don't Like the PS3 much as the only exclusive I like being the one and only LBP.

I am now thinking about buying a 360 as I like a lot of games on that console.Mainly Banjo-Kazooie and L4D 1 and 2 with Allen Wake and Natal looking cool to me. I think I will wait until the 360 gets another Price Cut to get one.

With Microsoft gaining my intrest everyday I don't know if Nintendo can make it as my main console for 4 gens in a row. I honestly don't know if it will even win this one for me. I won't sell my Wii but the 360 may become my favorite console of 2010 which would be a 1st because since 1996 Nintendo has always had the best console of each year for me. Can Microsoft steel the gen away from a Nintendo fan since 1996?

Depending on how long this gen lasts Nintendo or Microsoft will win this gen for me.(Sony can't live off of LBP) It will also come down to if Natal is any good and if Allan Wake is as good as I think it will be. Also if Pikmin 3 ever comes out as Pikmin 2 is my favorite game of all time so if its as good as 2 or better then Nintendo may have it either way Lol! It also may be to late in the gen for Microsoft to catch up.

As for next gen I may stop playing games overall!! (Depending on when this gen ends and if games keep my interest as I get older)

If I do keep playing games then Microsofts next gen console will probably be my 1st console of the new gen. If Nintendo has good online(360/PS3) and has good debut games such as Pikmin then Nintendo may be my 1st console of the next gen but Microsoft is more likely.

All in all I am saying that next gen will be the 1st gen where it won't be Go! Nintendo for me and Nintendo won't automatically get me to pick their console 1st.
