Forums - Gaming Discussion - How many controllers have you broken?

Okay lets be honest here, all of us love video games but sometimes like tonight they fucking piss us off. So when was the last time you broke a controller? I broke my first one tonight since the PS2 era, playing MW2....i swear i shot him first

Many NES/SNES controllers. Was along time ago so I donno what I did but damn I went through a bunch of those.

2 DC controllers. My dog ate one of them and I stepped on the other.
1 PS2 controller. The right analog stick broke (not sure why)
1 PS1 controller. The white one that came with the small white sku. The X/O buttons broke 2 days after I got it.

1 Original Xbox controller. Dropped it on my bed and it never worked after that (dropped from about 3 feet up while playing KOTOR)

1 PS3 Sixax about a month ago. Was charging my 2 Dualshocks while playing Demon's Souls. Threw it against my door and it wont work quite right anymore :)

Needless to say, I break a good deal of stuff :)

Yea was one of the original "Duke" controllers.  Never mistreated it either, just straight broke falling on my bed...  Cannot complain tho.  No one should ever play with that big ass thing anyway.

I got super pissed and chucked my PS3 controller out my room window. It hit the fence, saw it the next day it was in pieces.
I was having a bad day online, you could say that.

I used to have a bad temper and broke things. My list is:

-2 Atari joysticks. Though when they're the cheap ones and you have about 20 of them, you don't really care.
-2 NES controllers.
-1 SNES controller. These all broke in the same way- pushing too hard in the center from anger. Snapped the mobo in the controllers.

Never broke a controller. I've worn out some analog sticks, but never actually full-out busted one.

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

0, because I'm not retarded and don't have anger issues.
