im thinking of picking one up soon, i have the 60GB launch b/c but im going to sell it i think
go full ang get 250GB slim or import Final Fantasy 13 LE from Japan... i want a white PS3 lol..im not racist though
plus i need more hard drive space! mine is full which sucks

Just gradually got louder and the fan had to work a lot harder after less time.

That is the sign of it starting to go (especially if it beeps as well),  it it keeps on happening get rid of it quickly;) That's what i did with mine after the third time it froze on me, surprised it did not YLOD on me.
