My PS3 has started to freeze up on me. I am hoping I don't get a YLOD with it. It is a 60GB model also, so I drop backwards compatibility if it doesn't work.

I also had two RRODs with the 360. Since I got the more recent model, I haven't had problems though.

i gave my 360 to my bro a while back, he just got a brand new copy of madden 10 for it and it rrod'd a few months after, its now chillin on the floor till i get the time to hit up best buy for some thermal paste

i got a question, fi you go out to a restaurant and that night u get the worst runs you've had in your life, do you go back, if you buy a computer and it arrives broken do you buy another, why do people tolerate this crap, if some 14 yo kids on the net can fix a 360 why cant microsoft, and ppl still throw their money and worship this company,

all i wanna say is the games for it are awesome but the system is crap

as my customer put it when he came in, "the 360 is like a really hot woman with great games, but is a drugged up alchoholic that is unreliable and throws up all the time, the ps3 is like a classy girl with decent games, shes a vegetarian always on time, fit, and performs reliably. Why cant we just have the best of both worlds."

dont give up. it truely is luck of the draw. i personally never had a problem with mine(knock on wood) i know more people that actually had more problems with their ps3s. most arent willing to admit it publicly but when someone has a problem with an xbox on this site especially all ps3 fanboys jump all over it. im not a fan boy either way but you can tell it easily on here

It is your mistake. I bet if Xbox was a none American product and has such failure rate, then no one will buy it.

DVD drives crap out all the time... it's their nature... you're just unlucky since it's pretty friggen rare now for one to go out this soon
