Yes Windows XP uses less memory, but hey, the damn thing is 10 years old of course it will use les memory! Anyone who doesn't have a computer capable of using Windows 7 is probably 5 years overdo for a comp upgrade.

linux uses less memory, it have have all windows 7 features and animations

I use both, Windows Vista and Ubuntu 9.10, i voted for Ubuntu since it gives me the most out of my computer and it loads so much faster than Vista.

The only think i use still Windows Vista is because of the few IE-Only sites and few software you dont find easyly on Ubuntu.

Win7's great.

Never really used Linux, but I'd rather use it over Vista, which I'd subsequently rather use over XP.

The only reason I'd touch OSX would be to make a Hackintosh, and to laugh at the Mac fanboys who spend three times as much to use the OS on Apple's comparable proprietary hardware. >_>

I voted Windows 7 despite the fact that Linux is free, and is still a really good OS, it just needs more software to back it up and then it will be the better OS, without any doubt.
