The DS. Hell, I'm surprised it's not winning by a landslide.
360 Games Now Playing: 360 Games unopened: Resonance of Fate Last 360 Game I Beat: Resident Evil 5
DS Games Now Playing: Dragon Quest VI DS Games unopened: Knights in the Nightmare, Etrian Odyssey III, Okamiden, Dragon Quest IX Last DS Game I beat: Radiant Historia
Wii Games Now Playing: Super Mario Galaxy 2, Arc Rise Fantasia Wii Games unopened Little King's Story, Sonic Colors, Silent Hill Shattered Memories Last Wii Game I beat: Sin & Punishment 2
For consoles, it goes to PS3 now, its dethroned 360 in JRPG's and thats what matters more to me then WRPG's.
For Handhelds, i pick PSP over the DS because i pick quality over quantity, that and Phantasy Star Portable 2 is exclusive to PSP only.
in conclusion, both playstations of our current gen is where i do my RPG gaming overall.
the DS for handhelds and for consoles probably still 360 with Wii and PS3 catching up very quickly.
"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."
"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."
LOL? how can DS and PS3 be tied
everyone who voted PS3 by default hasn't owned and played a DS
or simply ignored all the RPGs out there for it

FFVI doesn't need graphics to be good and it's one of the best RPGs ever, the same thing goes for Chrono Trigger. Give me 10 good RPGs for the PS3 and I will give you 40 good RPGs for the DS (no jokes).
psp for me
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st
CGI-Quality said: For the gen (and hand-helds) it'd be the DS. On consoles for the gen, I'd say it's pretty even right now with the PS3 and 360. With the way the future is looking however, the PS3 will win out in the end for consoles. |
Maybe if you like JRPGs, but the 360 is dominating in WRPGs, which will only continue next year.
