Well, he is one of the best brazillian writers out there and I just inspire myself a lot in him when trying to write something. I would like to know if he is any popular in NA or EU.

Well, he wrotes loads of stuff, but his masterpieces are The Posthumous Memoirs of Brás Cubas and Dom Casmurro. He writes about the society in general and from Rio de Janeiro in particular.

He Talk about hypocrisy, critics morals,relationship of intereses, and loads of stuff. This is just a easy way to talk about it, it pretty deepers than it, you'll have to read it to understand. I guarantee that his pretty smart and deep and make wonderful character. He's engaged writer.
