You can check anyone on PSN using playfire.com.

Simply create a new trophy card and then input the PSN id.

I jump in and it's 1 on 1 for a long time... 20min go buy and it's finally 4 on 5, I notice half of the players have Chinese/Japanese text as their screen name, than I start to hear people talking and it's Japanese/Chinese/Korean.

I decide to leave when it gets to 10 on 10, I make some dinner jump back online do a search and only 1 server again, and it's the same one I left over an hour ago.. I don't want to join so I do a search and it's the only one that pops up...

So I make my own lobby and start it up.. 30min go by nobody joins.. I get up take out the trash come back, still no-one in the game, I put some dishes in the dishwasher, still nobody joins.

So I close it and do another search "Warzone" pops up so I join and it's the same server I joined awhile ago, and it has some more Chinese/Japanese/Korean players name text and voice..

almost 2 hours I'm playing with the same people, I mean nobody leaves, it's just the same people...


All this makes me think...

What is up with Sony's online? Does nobody play online with it or what?..... seriously?

It's not just the games, but friends list as well..

I mean I have just as many friends with PSN as I do on XBL, & Steam, but with PSN nobody is ever on? Steam, XBL, theres always a large selection of friends playing, but with PSN; honestly the last time I had at least 3 friends online at the same time was with the last update, and none of them were playing games...


For people that have Steam, PSN, XBL, even Xfire, do you notice any lack of a solid online community with PSN? whether it be gaming or friends lists?

 

Also, do you perhaps have a PSN id in a different country?

I have a Japanese and Chinese id in order to get access to different content. Could you have perhaps logged in to a Japanese id or something by mistake? The KZ2 server shows 2000 people online in the US alone.

 

EDIT: Sorry, that's actually 34k people playing in the last 24 hours.

Sega4life you have to go to the "Filter" thing and set everything to "All" i just checked it and its full of people.

I might have been playing under my Euro account and just didn't pay no mind...

I was trying to help level up my Son's account and I might have swtched to the wrong account after i was done..

I did the same thing when I got the free rubber kung fu fighters game. I normally play under a Chinese account, because Chinas flag is awesome. I downloaded the game on US account, got all the trophies and then realized they would not count toward my main.... happens to everyone.
