Forums - Gaming - GTA IV controls

Playing GTA IV atm and its a really good game(very entertaining ) except one thing the controls on foot,

Niko is so stiff? that it feels like he's 400 pounds. There is another word for it but I can't think of it now

I completely agree. They're so unresponsive, sluggish and I guess stiff is a good word too. The GTA 4 games have terrible controls- very high on the list of things I want improved for GTA 5.

Don't think San Andreas had this issue but then again haven't played it since it came out

For some reason I don't feel the same way as you at all. Nikko feels exactly like a regular person to me. He runs and jumps just like a real person too.

I think they just tried to make the controls to (real to life) as far as the movement goes. This in turn made the controls feel like crap. They tried to make Niko take each step up the stairs, tried to make him turn around like a real person, and tried to make him jump like a real person would. All in all it did seem a little odd maneuvering Niko around the world.

Albion - Its Fun as Ballz !!!!!

It feels like he's about to tip over to me.

I really don't agree that Niko moves like a real person atleast not like me , Can't even turn around
