I can agree with that, but Rikku has yet to show up on another console not owned by Sony, so I don't really see the issue.

Oh and to make one thing clear, Rikku is my icon :3

Not really, since there is no "Square Enix" section, sony is the best place to put it, since uhm... you know, its only been on PS2 and nothing else?

Your argument collides into my wall of "first of all".

Talking about a game that is on one system is different than talking about a 3rdperson dev character that was on a couple of games 6 years ago.

Additionally, if the thread were to be about, say, Rikku reappearing in a new game, or that FFX(2) was being rereleased on PSN it would be different.

The point is, Sony discussion is meant for talk about Sony related topics. Rikku being cute is not sony related. It is off topic related, or even just gaming related.

What you guys don't realize is that there is a lot of vgc$ profit to be made in the company sections.
Because of the new website setup, "show all" under hot topics on the front page do not show "off topic".

Therefore, when creating a money making thread, put it in gaming or higher for maximum exposure.
However, some people don't use the hot topics section and instead use the forums themselves. Therefore, it is even smarter to put a thread in one of the company threads, because they are often the most active and have the least amount of competition.

The Off topic forum is a nightmare. Getting something to stay in there more than 1 day is hard with all the "say something" threads that exist.

Certain clever individuals know these easy to figure out rules and disguise Offtopic threads as these.


I was completely joking at first when I was talking to Bug, so maybe you guys should chill out? Right now, I'm a raging inferno of squalor and vexation!
