I've decided to finally put my Kingdom Hearts 2 disc in my Playstation 2, and I'll play a while today.

I just wonder, there's so many other games, such as 358/2 days, birth by sleep (that I'll buy) chain of memories, final mix stuff and trinity master pieces? Well it's so confusing and all. Is there anything I need to know about these games? someone want to explain to me what happens in these games? story-wise..

I would like to know where in time all games take place aswell.

No one care to explain? it would be much appreciated.. I don't really want to miss anything important

if you have played KH1, Kingdom Hearts :Chain of Memories takes place between the two.

Kingdom Hearts: CoH takes place immediately after  Kingdom Hearts, I'll just say the main idea here as to avoid spoilers for you in case you want to play it. Basically the game introduces the Organization XIII a little more in depth, upon entering the castle he is warned that the further he goes the more loss in memory he will incur. He travels to the very top floor forgetting many things on the way, after defeating the final boss, a girl named Namine ends up with the power to restore your memories, while getting your memories restored you must be placed in a hibernation state. That is where KHII starts.

Once again a VERY basic story line. If you want to go in a little more depth I would have figured you'd end up looking up the info.

Chain of Memories shows what happens to Sora, Donald and Goofy between the ending of KH1 and the beginning of KH2. 358/2 days is about Roxas - takes place before KH2. Those two games link KH1 and KH2 together. Don't worry about Final Mix versions.

You don't have to play those two games. If you're enjoying the KH story, then you should give them a try. Otherwise don't because CoM is awful.

I don't think it's necessary to know anything about BBS or 358/2 since the games were developed later. A bit of Chains of Memories knowledge, on the other hand, can't hurt, because you might be confused in the beginning about what's happening

Yep it took me a bit of time to understand what was going on..

Same, and I actually had played CoM (though I didn't finish it, so how Sora had gotten to that is what confused me most)
