Forums - Gaming - Who here prefers Video Games over other forms of media?

I do because they can combine music, video, reading, and of course game play. that's not to say other types of media aren't nice though.

Agree? Disagree?

I certainly agree. Pretty much for the same reasons.

I hate video games and hope they all die!!!

I prefer reality.

It combines music, video, reading, gameplay, automatically comes in Hi Def for free, and has the best control setup ever.

Indeed. For you though, I hope Nintendo is going to make more games of the kind you're talking about in the future.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Videogames is the ART of the interactivity. No other media can give you that.

With that being said, I prefer the cartoon animation media, that´s my passion.

Videogames used animation as a tool. but they are quite far for what masters like Chuck Jones had done with this media.

Nothing comes close to music.

I prefer good books, movies, music, games, TV programs over bad ones.
I also don't think all games qualify as objects of a medium either, as not all games are designed to communicate a message. As such I don't consider videogames one of the media in the same sense as books or movies, but that's nitpicking :)

You've never had a colouring in book?

Tease.
