Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Instead of Zelda Wii, Aonuma wanted to make...

Crossbow Training 2. Yup. He wanted to delve into it a little more, add a competitive wi-fi multiplayer mode, but Nintendo convinced him to move on to Zelda Wii

Imagine the internet reaction if he had made that choice. Oh dear.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Haha well more than likely after he put out Crossbow Training he may have wanted to make more of a deeper experience for the game. But misleading considering Zelda Wii has been in production well before Crossbow Training came out haha. Just that he would have also wanted to make a Crossbow Training 2 at little expense to Zelda Wii.

But yes internet reaction would have been great haha. I'd personally like to see another Crossbow Training... I enjoyed the first one but obviously was meant to be more of a demo than an actual game so deeper experience would be great.

I saw CT at $2.99 used at Gamestop.

I don't know what that has to do with this topic, but I just thought I had to mention that.

Glad no focus was drawn away from Zelda Wii.

Zelda TPS confirmed.

He should remake Marvelous on DS using the PH/ST engine.

The Zelda franchise is not safe in Aonuma's hands

Things that need to die in 2016: Defeatist attitudes of Nintendo fans

As pointed out the next Zelda title has been in the works since well before CrossBow:Training was developed. Would it be interesting to see CrossBowTraining2 Aonuma would have done a great job. But in the end I'd rather see that effort put into new titles from untapped franchises like Donkey Kong for example!

I would buy CT2 the same way I bought CT.

I think he is very overrated. The Zelda series just isn't the same after he took it over.

Yeah it isn't the same, it is better. Well that is 3d Zelda I'm talking about... 2d is another story.
