- When I joined this site, it was around August. That was the time when the Slim / Price Cut rumors were popping up. At Gamescon, the PS3 Slim was annouced with a 299.99 price tag. Many threads were made. And bets as well. People said the price cut effect will only last 1 - 2 months and the PS3 would lose the holiday season as well. Now the holidays are coming to an end, and the PS3 has come on top ( Not including the Wii of course )

- Many users said the PS3 wouldn't outsell the 360 on Black Friday. Many users expected that Sony undershipped. After it was all said and done the PS3 was on top ( Again not including the Wii )

- Uncharted 2 is one of the most anticipated PS3 exclusives that came out this year. Many users said that Uncharted 2 wouldn't hit 2 Million by years end. Some even said that it would fail to reach 2 Million Ltd. Now it's currently at 2.3 with a week of the holidays left

- The launch week of Final Fantasy 13 was full of anticipation. Users were expecting 1 Million PS3's sold in a week. Many believed it would be close but not close enough. After this weeks charts, the PS3 is slightly over 1 Million sold in a week

- The PS3 was around 22 - 23 Million in September ( I'm not really sure ) People predicted that the PS3 was going to be around 28 - 29 Million. Now it's slightly over 30 Million.

After all this, should we stop doubting Sony ? They have defied so many odds this year.

To be honest I don't really care how much the PS3 sells, I still don't really want one. Sony has yet to prove to me that it has enough notable games to buy a PS3 for, that aren't already on 360. Maybe when it's $200 I will finally get one.
