Domicinator said: I don't fee like true 3D TVs are going to take off right away. If they do, whatever, I still can't buy one, but it doesn't seem like there's going to be much demand for them. Do people really want to upgrade their TVs AGAIN? |
Strange question. Is there a particular date on the calendar that the whole world upgrade their TVs at the same time?
As far as I know upgrading TVs is a rolling process that is done as required.
Many have upgraded and many more are waiting to upgrade.
If you happen to be on the market for one you get one. Simple.
The TV is now more than what it was a few years ago, and 3D is no longer the only reason to upgrade.
wifi (rj45)for web content, movie streaming and built in support for facebook etc, usb for keyboards, mice and external drives, HDD or SD card support.
Apart from playing console games natively the TV will do everything else the x360 and PS3 can now do.
The dream so many believe of MS/Sony taking over the living room entertainment is not very likely as in a few years the TV will still be the hub of entertaiment and much more so.
