Are there any?

Basically I'm kinda interested in playing a fairly direct conversion of tabletop gaming (whether it be strategy like warhammer or rpg) onto the PC. All the games I have found based on these franchises have been real time rather than turn based and so aren't really like the original games at all.

Back in the day one of the biggest genres was Wargamming which were all basically tabletop games where you didn't have to have the rules memorized. A good portion of the older SSI games for example are basically tabletop games

Thanks, I'll look those up. Are there any others?

Tons. What turn-based strategy/rpg games are you familiar with and what are you looking for? Are you only looking for games derived from existing tabletop games?

Mostly I'd be interested in games similar to warhammer (or even better Mordheim). The reason being that I'm interested in that style of gaming but far too lazy to get the models and friends together to actually do it properly =P.

Heh, that's why I never really got into warhammer -- too expensive. SSI did make 3 turn-based strategy warhammer games back in the day though: Final Liberation, Chaos Gate, and Rites of War. I'm not really familiar with Mordheim.
