@himan11 - how did you find ffxii Japanese version? I can't speak a word of Japanese but iv been frantically looking around my town to see if anyone is selling an imported version. Will I even be able to make it through the game.

you may want to try ebay...I read on Japanese blog, the game stores in japan are having a hard time selling the game after the boom sales at launch, some of them are already cut the game's prices...if you're lucky, you could get some of the cheaper copy of it...maybe...

Well I'm still in the early parts of the game (I'm assuming as I've only played about 4hrs now), but the game has been very linear so far. I'd imagine that it wouldn't be that hard to get through without understanding Japanese.(note: I'm assuming this as I have no problems understanding the game myself.) Although you won't understand the story and you might not know what abilities you're getting in the crystarium system unless you check out a faq or something.

How the game is later on I don't know as I haven't played that far yet...

Yeah I'm just at the part where the game is explaining the Optima System...very linear so far indeed...

Goddamit I'm so torn.

yeah still pretty basic..the crystarium is like FFX's system, like +4 strength, magics etc...it's just that a char has 2-3 different optima changes, like attacker, burst, healer, enhancer which has its own crystarium...

I am grinding for fun right now!
