I like it better that SONY doesn't have that _one_ mascot like the others. Having only one overshadows the others. SONY's mascots are every single main character in all their first party games.

It's to early now, but I'd like to see it gradually become Sackboy. There's incredible potential there for a massive variety of games in the same vein as Mario.

Plus, the character itself is so customizeable. In the same vein as Microsoft's Avatars, it'd be cool if you could customize a Sackboy, and he became the symbol for your PSN account. Then you could take him into other games. Like, say Sony made a Mario Kart game. Instead of using Mario, Luigi, etc etc you would just use your own Sackboy. Story mode you'd play against stock Sackboy characters, but online you'd play against everyone elses Sackboy. Sorta similar to the Wii system (playing with your Mii in Mario Kart), but obviously a thousand times better because Sackboy > Mii.

Sonys Mascot is crash bandicoot. he was the only "Mascot" they had other than that they dont have have one and crash stopped being the mascot during the early stages of the ps2 cycle

I thought Nintendo was the only company with an official mascot now? I never heard of Microsoft and Sony stating a single mascot to push their machines. I remember Crash Bandicoot was an "Unofficial" mascot for the PSOne, but that's about it. Unless I'm missing something.....

Per my last post I'm referring to official mascots. Halo is Microsoft's most popular franchise, but it's presumtuous to say Master Chief is their "Official" mascot if that is indeed what you're saying. Do Sony and MS really need a mascot for their systems? If the game franchise goes left (Sonic), that might put the systems in a bad light.....

Sony has Always Had Multiple Characters you could call their Mascot , They never really stuck on one , that's why they have sold 250+ Million PSPs AND PlayStation 1 2 and 3's! Diversity = good for the gamers :D
