ive been using the opera browser since almost 2 years now but since yesterday ever time i try to start opera then the Internet Explorer opens with this url: http://%22c/Programme/Opera/opera.exe"

and the message that it cant find the site i am looking for.

so i reinstalled opera and it happend again i tried 3 more times and have no change could somebody please tell me what the problem is?

try safari or firefox. opera isn't really a good pc browser versus those other two browsers i mentioned

but i have to give them the benefit of the doubt, they make some good mobile browsers for blackberries!

I use opera, no problems. Are you using a desktop shortcut? Maybe the shortcut is messed up. Navigate to the programs/opera folder and double click on the opera.exe directly. If that works ok, then get rid of your opera short cuts and make a new one.

thx but i already tried that do i downloaded firefox and it works fine but i want my opera back :( cant seem to get any news over the internet either. my friend thought it could be a trojan horse but i checked my computer with my avg antivirus and it found nothing

I been using Opera since forever. I'd help you but i've never encountered a problem with it.

Hum. Are you sure the shortcut is set right? Try running the opera.exe directly from the programs folder and see what happens. Also might want to run a virus and spyware check.

I also like Opera and wish I could help. But I've never had a similar problem. Sounds like perhaps some spyware issue.

Opera is the best browser.
