Hey All I just got the heads up that Amazon just got a small shipment of new in-box NTSC (USA) Dreamcasts from Sega Brazil. This is great timing because I'm planning on hosting a 3rd decade (DC has "touched" 3 different decades) Quake 3 party on 1/1/10. Thankfully Q3 DC still has quite a few servers, and PC players are welcome too. IP will be announced later, but I'll be hosting it on my old circa 2000 Pentium III. For those of you who have never had a chance to experience the most innovative console this is a great chance to pick one up new and untouched. Sure its loud, but that's just it saying how much it loves you . Post if you want a PM once I get the server issues ironed out. PC players will need a map pack but thats all. For those of you with an existing DC, don't worry this game will accommodate for 56k lag with a handicap for DC players vs PC.

I already have some Dreamcasts in amazing condition, but this is good for people that want to play one of the best consoles ever made.

Word is only 400 turned up in an old leased facility that was being used for HVC storage. These are some of the very last DC's to roll off the lines in Brazil. They even have metal drive "suspenders" something only about 10,000 DCs ever got. I also hear the last rev of DCs have upgradeable modem firmware, but who knows where to find it . Either way getting a new DC more than 10 years later is amazing. Seriously this console will never die. Take note Sega . Just give me a reason to drop those wussies at Nintendo (lesser of 3 evils). I remember when innovation and hardcore were not mutually exclusive. Now we get to pick one or the other.

One of the GREATEST consoles of all time, and it also happens to have the GREATEST game of all time available for it...................... Shenmue.
