I really like the voice acting tbf :) I'm english enthusiast,my stance on the whole language debate is that half the world speaks english,the other half want to :) An over simplification,but one that has some truth to it.

I've hated looking at images and watching trailers of FFXIII for the last 4 years and being unable to understand any of it.

Wow, this is amazing, no irritating characters, and I'm already beginning to like the characters lots now, I am going to give it a 9/10 because it is so much better than the acting in FF XII so far that is.
I have already spoiled some of the game by looking at this grrrr.

I would give the voice acting about 8/10 also from what i have seen in the trailers... this could either improve or seem worse when the final copy is in our hands

I never thought about this stuff before but since I've recently become a hardcore anime fan, I have now grown to dislike english voices in JP productions such as this and this one doesn't fare much better but thankfully, its a gameso the voices aren't such a huge part. I can live with this.


If you want to see real bad voice acting, watch the anime "Basilisk" in english lol. I almost cringed to death.

Just watch anyone in english :O They more or less all suck.

I'd have loved to have japanese dub in the game but truth be told the english va is great, maybe not on par with the japanese but still pretty good (far better than any english va in an anime).

It's pretty typical of english voice acting. I swear I rarely ever find english voice acting that matches the character. I seriously wouldn't be surprised someday if I heard a 40 year old baritone males voice coming out of a 10 year old girl character.
