I dont think 1 game will make a whole nation that is biased towards a console will make it fly off the shelf like hot cakes...look at mario galaxy, that was intended to be a big hit and didnt sell what was expected, since thats true why would this game move hardware to the point that it actually makes a dent in the japanse market? This game will sell 300,000 lifetime in japan and at most move 50,000 360 units there.

No word on summons or limit breaks yet? I heard there was a world map, has that been confirmed?

old school game with amazing visuals and soundtrack, will end up getting it but was expcting much more from the battle system department.

This game is looking absolutely incredible. And the funny thing is, it will be a February system seller in the USA and Europe. Obviously it wont move huge numbers, but die hard turn-based ans FFXIII simply have to have this game

I agree with you, it wont be huge that makes japan accept the 360, but if it moves 50k consoles in Japan alone for MS they might consider it a part success, and thats not including the people it could bring in in NA and others.

I think once you get a giant group of exclusive JRPGS they might start to consider and thats what im thinking MS is doing, They will have BD and LO released, and have Cry on and Infinite Undiscovery left, and all those grouped together could move alot of consoles.

No words, we barely know anything, they are supposed to release alot of info in NOV when they hold that convention with uematsu holding that concert, people will be able to play it. And yes there is in fact a World map.

I dont think they would call it summons, or Limits, though i think we will see them. I dont think they want an exact FF clone, because then many would dip into it for it.

Well its old battle system like you said, and alot of people like it. Cant judge it till it comes out. But since it comes out early in Japan, we can at least see whats in it before we buy.

I think theyre best bet for right now should be to copy ff as much as possibe. If its not broke why fix it? Be creative with cry on, which i imagine will be similiar to the kh series, battle wise not story.

FF is a slowly dying franchise (this may change with FFXIII, but the sales have been dipping and many feel FFXII was a letdown), so I don't see Mistwalker trying to copy it directly.

THey are not copying 12 thats for sure, copying some of the older turn based (mostly FF 10)
Personally i want summons and limits, and i think there will be, but they wont be exactly like that.

We still dont know anything about the combat system really, cant wait for the thing in middle of november!

Yeah I agree, its pretty sweet looking. I do like the older ones as well though. Having seen some of the games content, it really doesn't matter to me whats on the box.

As for the 1080p, I don't think it will be native. But if it is, that is truly excellent. Doesn't matter anyway, my television only does 1080i:(
