Is this a Killer App????? Is that a Killer App???? That is thrown around so much, every game is not going to be a killer app? someone on this thread said it a killer app is when you have to have this console to play AND it's a great game that will make people buy this console to play it(in great numbers)just because 40 greasy xbox players buy the 360 for Gears it doesn't make it a killer app, just because 40 psycho wannabe gods buy the PS2/PS3 for God of War doesn't make it a killer app, and just because 40 kids beg their parents to buy them a Wii for poke'mon doesn't make it a killer app.! Don't forget GTA was considered to be a groundbreaking title that, by all accounts, became one of the PS2's first "kiler apps", and it did this inspite of looking like crap. And I'd like to see your facts that prove their are more graphics whores than gameplay whores, or atleast sales figures that prove this(hint: the Wii vs. PS3 sales figures proves your wrong) PS: I wasn't implying that your "cerebral skills are imparied", just that you have no clue what irony is, let alone how it's not the same thing as joking or sarcasm. Then again your post are often overflowingly ironic, so maybe you know more on this topic than I do....

I think I will have to start writing this in my signature so I don't need to write this every time the graphic nerds start screaming: A killer app = A game that sell system Wii Sport sells system = A game that sell systems Wii Sport = A killer App Did it go to fast for you? I can do one more example A killer app = A game that sell system Brain Age = A game that sells systems Brain Age = A killer app. Killer app has nothing to do with Graphics it has with SALES! (if you don't want to look at Nintendo products) Buzz = a game that sells system (in EU at least) Buzz = killer app.

Soulxxx: The price of a PS3 does not become easier to swallow because Nintendo MIGHT release a new Wii SKU. Though, uh... There won't be a new Wii SKU. Maybe a "redesign", but nothing with new functionality... And nothing with a higher price tag. And I will bet you that Wii will have outsold 360 and PS3 combined worldwide by the end of 2009. Its a sure thing.

I will have to agree since all those graphics whores are buying the PSP....oh wait.
