God of War III to look significantly better than the demo

God of War III is said to be the most anticipated game to date. Actually it was voted so by the gaming community as evident from the Spike VGAs last night. If gamers think that it looks good now, they will be blown away by the final product.

According to a quick interview between John Hight, director of Sony Santa Monica Studios and Jeff Rubenstein of Playstation.Blog, the demo for GOW III that was shared with God of War: Collection was from a much older build. According Hight, since then the team has made improvements such as extra polish and added in depth of field.

The team will continue to work on tuning and refining GOW III up until it’s time for it to come out in March. Rubenstein, who got to see the current build indicates that the current beta build looks significantly better than the demo. Considering that the demo looked amazing, this can only mean that the final product will undoubtedly blow everyone’s minds.

if it is the most anticipated then its sales might overwhelm previous GOW's sales

Santa Monica are graphics magicians. It is known. They managed to extract a graphics performance out of the PS2 that few people thought the PS2 was capable of. It should be expected that God of War III will blow people's minds with its graphics.

Heavy Rain is going to have a fight on it's hands for best graphics in '10.

Everyone who has seen the latest trailer has been left speechless by it (literally). Can't wait...come on, January!

Better than Uncharted 2? I think it could be. The E3 demo honestly wasn't too far off.

I thought it was kinda obvious that the final product would be significantly better than the demo.

Anyhow I can tell GOW III is shaping up to become one of the top graphics beasts the PS3 has to offer. It already is just from looking at the demo but when the new trailers and new build media is released, that is when I can say "GOW III blew me away... AGAIN!!!"
