The lack of the One-Winged Angel disturbs me. i recently played VI on my PS3 and lol'd how stupid the final battle was, i gotta admit the Music for the final battle for VI was epic, i think it was dacing mad or something? but come on People, Sephiroth created the word "EPIC" in final battles in video games

So do you try to poop on the FFVI final battle because it's so often cited as being better than FFVII's, or what

No, i prefer FFVII's Final Battle far more, is there something wrong with that? though i gotta admit dancing mad is amazing, that epic backround music really impressed me, however un-animated frozen pixels that make no sense what-so-ever turned me off, far the point of matter, how come kefka is normal sized while terra and locke and the others are all SMALL, i hated that.

Lets not start a VI and VII war please, i've played both and i prefer VII while you twes, Pull and Ephiria perfer VI.

That song is amazing though, i like it as much as onewinged angel.

I'm fine with you liking the FFVII final battle better

I'm askingn why you took the opportunity to slam the final battle in VI, and why you're still doing it. What does that have to do with you liking VII?

"slam" ? no, just putting my opinion out there on why VI's final battle turned me off from its epicness. i merely couldn't understand why they weren't the same size as kefka, it annoyed me quite abit at the time.

i forgave it somewhat, thanks to its epic BGM though.

a lot of people already mentioned a lot of my favorites, and the one that came to my mind was FF:CC for GC, it was chaotic, and also very moving with all your memories dissapearing in order to give you the power to succede.

I don't want to discuss your opinion, since it's a valid one, yet I just want to adress one of your missunderstandings about Kefka's final battle in FFVI

The size difference is because Kefka is the actual God of Magic. After destroying the statues of the goddess of magic and destroying the world, he became the new God of Magic, so his power is of a godly being.

There are a couple... In no order:

Persona 3
Kingdom Hearts (the sequel had a very boring one though.)
Final Fantasy VII

What? How could you call that boring!

FF6 - not only the best final boss battle, but the best final boss music.

Sorry, the best final boss music goes to Dragon Quest VIII.

The Epitome of 'Hero' music.

Yea, I really liked that end theme too, but FF6 final boss battle was not CD based and was limited to the sound processor of the SNES.  To me, nothing will comare.

On top of that Dancing Mad is a whopping 17:34 long!!

EMULATION is the past.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

I've only played one of those which was FFXII and it was too easy.

I know that, Kefka was quite a nutcase and very evil. i get that, however... god and all, the size of the characters was not normal, they were almost like dots, and i thought in the final batlle they'd atleast become better looking, like how cloud fought sephiroth in the final battle, they both infact looked higher quality then the entire game offer'd from there cloths to there faces and muscles.

That was not the case in VI and i expect that to be.

@Seraphic_Sixaxis

Well you can't really compare what the SNES and the PS1 could offer in terms of capacities if you're trying to imply in actual character models.

FFVI did wonders for it's time, and the actual sprite of Kefka is actually one of the best i've ever seen :)

Plus, wasn't size differences actually a big part of the final battles in FFVII? I mean, both Bizarro Sephiroth and Safer Sephiroth were completely huge in relation to the actual model of Sephiroth.

Also, you can't really count that final Cloud vs Sephiroth in the end, it wasn't even a battle per se, just a added bonus in case you didn't get Omnislash in the whole game and see Cloud unleash a can of whoopass on Sephiroth
