Forums - Gaming - Best Final Battle In A JRPG

Final Fantasy X's. Don't ever mention FFXII's boss battle ever again. He was a complete joke, plus the ending REALLY REALLY sucked. It's too bad, because I enjoyed the game a lot.

Oh, maybe add Grandia and Grandia 2's final boss too.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Kefka (FFVI) or The Undying (FFXII).

Well, no. If I'm honest with myself, the only answer is Giygas.

well i can't think of any (there are tooooooooo many actually)

but im surprised no one mentioned FFVI's

well the thing that is epic about it is that its REALLY Epic, because its inspired by the Epic Poem called "Divine Comedy" (which is the game Dante's Inferno is based off)

you first start the battle in "Hell", the music starts gloomy and " deadly "  then you go to "Purgatory" and you hear drums all over while suddenly the music falls into a loop then goes into the drums again, then you get to "Heaven" and there you listen to bethooven-like music (heavenly type music lol ) and then after all this you hear curch drum bells and chime and get to meat Kefka which actually inspired by the angel "Seraph" (and which inspired Sephiroth's design of hebrew religion) , which became a God / Fallen angel while you see at the background that everything is destroyed and you and him are the only thing left, that is when he laughs at your face while battling him (lol)

Another Epicness battle is from Mother / Earthbound.

its very symbolic like the one ontop but it makes you feel very very guilty as well , as you are actually going into a womb and killing a child before he was born. and the music makes it feel more and more disturbing added to what it tells you "I Feell... haaapppyyy" and such  , very disturbing
