Shiska from Bungie said that it isn't paint.  But that doesn't rule out your idea though.

Yeah every badass game needs a totally badass character.  The other halo's had Johnson, and Gears has the Cole hulk guy.  It just wouldn't be the same without someone like that!

Wow that was in game, then imagine the cut scenes.

That jaggie on the aircraft when one guy was loading bullets into a magazine bugged me. I was also pretty impressed at how that female looked when compared to their past efforts in Halo 2.

Anyway, it looked pretty sweet. I'd like to see how the gameplay is. I haven't been too interested in the series after the first game, but I'd like to see things be more intense and crazy in the battles. I'm also pretty excited to see the graphics because that helps fuel interest to see other games push graphical boundaries as well.

It's a Halo game so for me it was GREAT!
