Sort of disappointing.  Hard to really say anything without seeing gameplay though.  Put it this way--I wasn't overly impressed with the teaser by any means.

It shows nothing new, give me a reason why anyone should be excited by the trailer.

I never said there's anything wrong with being excited for Reach, since they've many claims that it's going to redefine Halo, but the trailer itself shows absolutely nothing of value. It's a teaser, and teasers only work if it's a surprise announcement, but since we've known about Reach for a while now, it means nothing.

Oh yeah, and don't be so pretentious, whether the mods ban me for unintentional trolling is their business, not yours. Additionally, the thread title is about NOT liking the Halo Reach trailer, so what kind of opinions did you expect to see in this thread? Get real.

It isn't a trailer.  It is the opening cinematic to the game.  I am excited.  I enjoyed seeing 6 Spartans head off into a battle with a huge explosion.

You don't speak for everyone.  There are many that can and will be excited about it, me included.  The fact that you worded it in a flame baiting or trashing sort of way is why it is borderline ban worthy.  Also, it is my business as well as anyone else's on this forum.  The moderators act on posts that are reported.  They are few in a field of many.  It is our job to find and report possible infractions and theirs to deal with it.  I'm just trying to keep the peace, here.

There is nothing wrong with hating the trailer or Reach or Halo.  There is something wrong with antagonizing everyone by saying "I personally think it's pretty sad that anyone could get really excited from it."  That's offensive because there are quite a few people who did enjoy it.  You should never assume such things because that will always offend someone.

I'm a huge Halo fan, and I was still pretty bored with that video.

I love The Office.  One of my favorite shows.    You are lucky I am a fan of the show and I am in a good mood, because comparing me to Dwight would be an obvious insult.  And I'm not taking this too seriously.  I'm not trying to make a big deal about it, just trying to keep the peace and help you realize that not everyone on this site would react to what you say in as calm of a fashion as I have.  This site is filled with people who would jump on that comment and start a flame war with it.  The way I see it, my view on what you wrote is probably no different than any mods' on here.

But that's enough of this off topic discussion.  I pointed out what you shouldn't have said and hopefully in the future you will take more consideration of others' views so that you do not offend anyone.

It wasn't exactly " JAW DROPPING ! " but it was a decent trailer. I think they needed to show some more gameplay. Now that would really drop jaws, hell it'll break em.

I doubt we will be seing any gameplay until at least GDC.  Maybe not even until E3.  But around May the multiplayer beta should start, so maybe by then?
