I dont consider IGN relevant anymore, I do not think many people do but heck I could be wrong.
Anyhow, DAO should gt Goty on that list hands down. Most of that list just shows what IGN must be smokin these days, same deal with their PS3 list. MW2 on their PC list for shooter, Demon Souls not on their PS3 list for Goty? Braid on PC Goty year list... I could go on, but no point...
Take into account the insane amount of games that WERE NOT represented in this list :-/
