Yes. I really enjoyed it. However, you have to go in knowing that the voice acting is bad and the story can get odd. If you can accept that, the gameplay is great and so is the music.

if u must buy it get it for PS3. The voice acting is horrendous but the PS3 offers a Japanese VO option which makes it somewhat bearable. Also its only on one disk blueray on PS3 apposed to 3 disks + disk swapping for 360. PS3 easy choice

i'm still waiting for a price drop, i know people were too harsh on this game, because it didn't innovate, and the atrocious voice acting.

Disc swapping really wasn't much of a problem. If you haphazardly completed the side quests at the end of the game, yeah, you had to swap, but it wasn't terrible. Japanese VO, however, would have been a nice addition.

+1

that depends, expect a cliched storyline with overused character types and humanity depending on teenagers. try to give it a rent first on 360 before deciding to buy it though.

I would rather play it on my X360. Plus no need to wait for a release since it is already available to us X360 owners. PS3 is best for exclusives IMO. If it is multiplatform its always a no brainer for me. X360 for exclusives and multiplatform titles, PS3 for exclusives and Wii for exclusives. Just my take on the sitatuon.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

It is worth a purchase if you dont have any JRPGs to play. It is nothing compare to other star ocean titles. Its a pretty average title, but with a brand name associate with really good games. Combat is very cool, a lot of sidequest also, but its the story that is a problem. Actually theres almost no background story until the end of the game. Its like a couple of sub story put together. It is still enjoyable but surprisingly bad for game in a series as good as that. 6.5, 7/10

I would purchase the international version if they would change the story, because the rest of the game is good (interface, graphic, characters, sound, battle). Voices are not that bad exept the small girl Lymle mmmmmmmmmkay.
