I hear ya, Mike. I guess for me when it comes down to it, NPD just has the chance of being a higher % reliability given it's size over VGChartz and their database. Obviously the only numbers that we can ever possibly know for sure are ones from the manufacturer themselves.
I guess I made this thread out of an "AH HA!" moment and so it seems a bit ecstatic 
And I definitely know what you mean about Nintendo/Sony. Walmart has like 2 sections for Wii, 2 sections for DS, 1 section for 360, and 1 section for PS3/PSP/PS2 where I live.
