Forums - Microsoft - FORZA 3 APPRECIATION!! JaggedSac, help me out

I've had Forza 3 since launch and I loved it. But the more I play it, I love it even more. The graphics are nothing short of amazing and gameplay is as good as a racing sim can be. The aspect of the game i enjoy the most tho is the community. The limitless user created paintjobs, tune setups, vynil shapes, drawings, etcetera. The online community is what makes this game one of the best racing sims ever (if not the best). I enjoy making screenshots and have yet to use the make a movie fature, but i bet its fantastic. This is a game that deserves great attention and i reccomend it to all racing gamers around.

Plus, I cant wait to see what Gran Turismo 5 will be like. I can say that Forza 3 has set thMy eyes are set e bar high for racing sims to come so if GT5 turns out to be better or similar, it will be a great game as well. Cant wait.

I know some of you guys have enjoyed Forza 3 as much as I have, so give me your take on the game and give me some insight on more features of the game I havent mentioned. Peace

I'm going to talk about the track selection. Just about every type of track you can possibly imagine is in this game. Long tracks, short tracks, tracks with lots of turns, tracks with lots of straightaways, there's even different types of track surfaces on different race tracks. Most of the time it's like driving through a painting. The draw distance is really amazing and you can see for miles and miles and miles off the track. My favorite tracks are Rally di Positano and Nurburgring.

Also, there's circuit races, point to point races, and drag races. If you love cars and racing, get this game. I'm on the beginning of season 5 and am I think at level 37, yet I'm under 15% of the way done with the career mode. This game is a huge and a time sink if you really wanna go the full distance.

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

i like how when you first pop it in , it gives you a tour-like briefing on everything, and i like how the menus are made, and also like how its easy to find a game get on and play it. its made for casuals and hardcores. the costumize thing is really great you can spend most of your time on it, then show it off online or upload it.

me and my friend spent alot of time tuning the cars espicially for drag races (we play that all the time) and each time its different experience.

its a great game overall and is a must get if you have a 360 , even if you don't like racers there is room for you here.

The more I play it the more I like it as well. It's got a great variety of detailed tracks/courses. I love driving in the city courses it's fun as hell because it's so crisp and beautiful and hard to pass opponents due to the narrow tracks. The attention to detail in the cars mechanics is great as well, just staggering. You feel like you are actually in the car when your driving in cock-pit view, it's fun and get's your heart going. I play with all settings off on the hardest difficulty so it's always a tight race, you really feel like a race driver.

But...this is not a racing sim!!!
It's a 'Driving sim', and so is GT.

Well, having Played Forza exhaustively, and being now on the last half stretch of Season 60 and Driver level 50, I have to say that Forza 3 is the best driving simulator to be released so far.

Everything is top notch, going from car detail, to their physics, to how each one handles differently, to the huge span of parts customization, all the tune-up options, the attention to details in the tracks and so on.

Also, playing it on the hardest difficulty, no assists turned off (except TCS when i'm driving a R3 and forwards car, since I don't have a Racing Wheel for the 360, and accelerating with the triggers will cause your R cars to always overspin with TCS turned off) and that makes you feel like a true competition ;)

Except well, maybe if i'm driving on Nurburgring, in that case I leave everything on the dust xD

i like everything in forza 3 first racing game i liked yeah and driving with a peugot R1 car in the multiplayer is great but hard

I really love this game. Sad thing is, every time I have logged onto Live recently, a friend wants to either play MW2, L4D, or Borderlands. The tracks are great, the sound is great(although the music gets old, I now just stream from my PC), the cars are great, the controls are friggen epic, the online stuff is epic, the auction house is great, the painting stuff is great. This is an all around complete package for anybody. I have played for quite a while and have only completed like 10% of the game. This will be a game I play for a long time to come.

And thanks for calling me out in a thread title :)

@JaggedSac

I am about 10% complete with the game.  I have actually spend almost as much time taking pictures and screwing around with the paint editor as I have spent driving.  I will add you.

I'm about 22% now, at half season 6 ;) Haven't taken much pictures now, the R1 series are really hard x.x
