I want to know about the WEAPONS.

Around 200 dead demomen.

That pretty much cancels out my 268 dead soldiers...

Behind schedule... I wanted 300 by tonight.

Demoman went from my second least played class to most played ammusingly.

As you can imagine... least played is Soldier.

Hopefully we start getting weapon info tommorrow.

Soldier is my most played by far... and demoman maybe 5th.

Anyway one thing I don't like about this war is that we can't see our net contribution. I'd like it if it subtracted the number of times the opposing class killed us (or maybe a separate counter that we can subtract ourselves, whatever).

Because some people go all in to get kills, and don't try to minimize the risk of getting killed by a demo/soldier.

I guess they don't want to hurt people's feelings by showing they have a negative contribution... but they could have some other way for us to check it, maybe an advanced setting or something.

Hah that's a good point.  I know i run back to the resupply base so much you'd think i was in an actual war.

I've seen people will kill counts in the 750's.  All soldiers.

I used to have a really bad computer, so my most played class is sadly engineer... at like 75 hours.

Demoman

Demoman <3 Nadejump and sticky bombs for the win.

At this point i think Demomen would be better off working for points in paintshop.  I would, if i had any art skill.

I can't even draw a straight line though... I am quite possibly the least artitistic person to ever live... and that's not an underexagerration.

Well ok, i guess a little... since I can probably draw better then say a parapalegic, but i think they'd get points for not having full use of their faculties.

Still submitted together a clumsily pasted together thing hoping the text is worth some points.

I think I saw a guy with almost 2000 kills yesterday... whether he was trying to cheat or not, I don't know. I suppose it 's possible to do it without cheating by playing well, playing almost all day long and on War servers.

Valve says they'll be able to weed out the cheaters... somehow.  We'll see.

Knowing them the whole thing is a big put on anyway...

After the idlers thing i don't know why people would try and cheat valve.

Knowing them they'll count the kills... for the other team... or something crazy like that.

I know the Lotus Servers were cheating which was regrettable... maybe he was playing there?

They had it set up so Soldiers would score kills on demos... while the demos were still alive.  I was playing on 2-fort standing in my own base left alone... getting messages that i kept getting killed.

If Valve does something and the soldiers lead doesn't hold up... i'd know who i'd blame.

I wouldn't worry about that kind of cheating. It should be very easy to filter out servers where one class is defeating the other by a huge factor, and at a high volume of kills.

edit - also, I'm pretty sure those things have already been filtered out and aren't included in the current scores. Otherwise they could easily have a real-time score, updating it daily allows for filtering to be done.

Soldiers 234k in the lead =(

I get the impression from the secret page in the Saxton hale comic that the Soldier will be getting a Pickaxe... and the Demoman a Claymore, though could be typical valve misdirection.
