Having that game disappear on you for over 2 years was a smart decision on remedy's part. Alan Wake went through drastic changes.

Looked better in '05...but that's because they were showing the (would be) superior PC version. I remember a tech demo showing tornadoes and they talked about utilizing quad core PC processors. *sigh* oh well...

Definately the "canned" PC version was a little superior yeah.
I hope it get's released too. This game is just too awesome for just the 360 audience.

wow, wtf guys. There is no freaking way you can say the 2005-2006 version looks better. I mean, the current version is totally better in every way. Environments looks 5X better, character models are cleaner, lighting is great (whereas the game is relatively bland looking early on)

Seriously? The first thing I noticed was how much better the 2009 version looks from the 2005 one.
