DDR3 memory doesnt work with the motherboard you have chosen. Also the fsb of that motherboard will botleneck your processor.

Also one of the PCi express 2.0 slots runs at 4x. the runs at the full 16x. This will be a slight, remember slight as in almost nothing problem when you decide to by another grpahics card and put it in crossfire mode. Assuming the motherboard supports crossfire. I dont know i ahev not checked.

All in all a nice set up but change the memory because it will not work in that motherboard. If it was me though i would change the motherboard

So what motherboard would you reccommend?

scratch the bit what i said about the FSB of the motherboard and processor. I was thinking of Intel not AMD. they report the numbers different you see. Its all ok sorry about that.

but you still need to change the memory and have a look at the PCI 2.0 specs on the motherboard

The motherboard you got should be ok. Just change the memory. I made a mistake about the FSB. I posted it in my last post. and the thing about the PCI 2.0 slots shouldnt really be a problem.

Ok, thank you! Would DDR2 be a lot slower than DDR3 or is it a slight decrease. Also, how would this setup run L4D2?

No probs. and remember to earth yourself before you start messing around with any of the pc stuff. Or you may cause them to break.

Dont waist your money on that anti static equipment. Just earth yourself by holding the metal on your PC case for a few seconds

Alright, and is the PSU good? I've heard the PSU is probably the most important part as it can make/break the whole thing.

Nah not at all. The isnt really a big differnce between them. a few percentage increase in DDR3 favour. say like 3% or so in most things. Hardly worth the money. I believe a program has to be optimized for it. But non are.

And yh that system will run L4d2. You should have no worries about that

yh its a really nice PSU for the price seriously. It keeps up with the Phenom II X4 Quad Core Processor and that is like quite a bit more expensive. I think it is brill value just like the PS3 ;)

Awesome! Also, is the video card too big? Some of the comments say cards like GTS 260 will not fit, and GTS 250 are super tight.
