Not an impressive feat in terms of sheer numbers, i suppose. There are many here who would put me to shame in that category, but i figured 100, being easily convertible into percentages, is a good time to take perspective on what kinds of games i've been buying since i got my first system, an N64 in late August of 1999.

The easiest list is the spread across platforms, where it is: GameCube 26, Wii 24, DS 17, N64 12%, GBA 11, GB/GBC 10. The N64 and GBC were bought pretty late in the system's lives, and frankly it's impressive that i got as many titles as i did considering i had both for about 2 years before replacing them, and back then i pretty much only got games as gifts.
GameCube was my pride and joy, of course, and recieved the bulk of my focus, which also explains the GBA's relatively low number. I had both through their whole lives, but i favored GameCube heavily. I've been more balanced this generation, but with my increasing awareness and financial independence has increased my intake overall. Wii will have GameCube matched by January.
For a devoted Nintendo fanboy, dividing the games by publisher is extremely unbalanced. Nintendo holds a solid 2/3rds of my entire collection, with 67 games. Sega is a distant second with 18, Ubisoft with 3, and other publishers (LucasArts, Atlus, Hudson, Capcom, Namco, Activision, and Square Enix) with 1 or 2 titles each. I really took advantage of Sega's support for the GC and the GBA. Got all the Sonic Advance games, PSO I & II, PSO III, Sonic Adventures and whatnot.
Dividing my collection by genre is the most interesting. Platformer is far out in front in this case, with 26 games. A platformer was the cornerstone of my collection, with Super Mario 64, and they've remained my favorite. RPG is second with 10, Action, Adventure, Racing, Strategy, and Sports are all tied with 9 games each. A strange example of my diversity in taste. I have 8 "Retro" games, which i define as any game who's primary purpose is to package multiple old games. I say primary purpose so that Super Mario Bros DX counts, but Sonic Adventure DX (with its many Game Gear games) does not. 7 FPSes, 4 Fighting games (the three Smash Bros plus a Smash Bros clone. Definitely shows my tastes there), and 0 retail puzzle games.
Anyone else ever taken a good look at their own purchase history? It's an interesting introspective. I would never have said RPG was my second-favorite genre, but there it is, and i'm surprised at how even my purchases are among non-platformers.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
