Forums - Sony - PS1 jrpgs vs. PS2 jrpgs

shadow madness was horrible, i wasted $10 on that crap.

No one brought up Dragon Quest 7. That game was awesome.

PS1, the stories tended to be more in-depth and the characters seemed more mature.

There are simply too many JRPgs on the Ps1 to make a list, and people seem to have a good handle on it.

Ps1 was way more experimental than the Ps2. There are also more SRPGs.

Also, Vanguard Bandits! Oh yeah... I bet no one saw that coming... oh fuck someone already mentioned it. And I thought I was the only one who knew that one. That is one of the most obscure ones I know.

Wait I gotta come up with a more obscure one... Fuck someone already mentioned Azure Dreams too! Wait... let me see... someone else in the world has played Threads of Fate?! Oh fuck, I give up. You guys win!

Before I leave I'll just mention a obscure beat em up game no one here knows about so I can feel better about myself: Panzer Bandit!

ever heard of Thousand Arms?? I only kno 1 person who knos wat Thousand Arms WITHOUT me introducing them to it

I own it. I still don't like that you can only use one character to fight and the rest are your cheerleaders. Then if you sub the fighting character, you can't bring them back in.

lol I had a feeling it was when I watched the trailer on my Playstation Underground CD back in the day. I just thought to myself "This can't be good."
