only JRPG on the Ps2 I can think of besides the ones named already is Valkrie Profile.

PS2 has the Quantity but PS1 has the Quality so I'll go for PS1. Lol

PS1 homes Suikoden 2 and FF VII and PS1's AAA and I enjoy almost all of it.

Wow... this is... really stupid.

First of all, you can't say "Chrono Trigger" or "Final Fantasy Anthology" because those were goddamn ports. And they were BAD ports. They were laggy, they froze, etc. So what if you can play those games on the PSX? NEWSFLASH, YOU CAN PLAY THEM ON A PS2 AS WELL. They aren't PSX games, they don't count.

Secondly, Xenogears? FF8? Seriously? Some of the games you guys are listing were absolutely terrible, and many others aren't even worth remembering.

But to answer the question, both eras produced a lot of bad RPGs, and a handful of good ones. I consider at least one on each system to be indispensable. But neither system produced my favourite.
