I would imagine Final Fantasy XIII is bound to be more successful and gather more praise than Lost Odyssey.

I never really got into Lost Odyssey.

Say what you want about me lol heck you can bash the hell out of me,but I find games less enjoyable if their 360 exclusive.So I'm going to always have a biased view on things.

Perhaps Lost Odyssey will be a more accessible game to individuals who are looking for something more than FF13 an offer?

We won't really know till the game is released and a proper comparison is made.

Oh come on, I know you never used the word – but you’ve got a funny way of not ‘hating’ the game. You must admit that whenever you comment on the game that it’s always less than favourable and now making claims that other games are ‘better’ (Tales of Vesperia) and acting dumbfounded that the game is even being compared to Final Fantasy.

Someone please comment if you think I’m reading between the lines too much, but I don’t think that it takes a genius to decipher that you clearly don’t like this game.

You ‘educating everyone else’ is in reference that you feel the need to inject your negative opinion whenever you can. I've said what I wanted to say, I just tire of people harping on about how much they dislike something, when they could have just not said anything at all. Say it once and be done with it.

I dunno, i enjoy LO however the characters weren't very good looking... then again im boycotting FFXIII.... i'll have to think on this one.

People are naturally bias to Final Fantasy because its Final Fantasy. not to surprising really.

I have the strange feeling I'll like Lost Odyssey better, but I'm going to wait and see.

I find Lost Odyssey to be pretty horrid. The music is Uematsu's worst compositions since Rad Racer. The voice acting is so bad that it makes Saturday morning cartoons look like academy award winning performances. I tried switching over to the Japanese Voiceovers but to no avail. It's not just the voice acting but the atrocious diolouge and story that made me want to sniff arsenic.

Graphically it's amazing I mean it really holds up next to FF13 which is saying something considering it's 2 years older. But the experience is boring and GOD Jansen has to be the worst character ever. I'm deep into the third disk and have a feeling it's not going to get any better. If FF13 isn't a better game then it will be the flop of the century.

Moral of the story? You may not be able to trust the reviewers but that doesn't mean that you can random kids on forums not to overhype the hell out of a few niche titles.
