My girlfriend has done some theatre. Specifically, she did this big artsy puppets thing. It was amazing, I never knew puppets could be such a deep field.

too late now.. i pursued an "academic career" to make my dad proud.. im the youngest of 7 girls, the only one to go to uni.. so i need to stick in and work hard! i might try to get involved in some amateur stuff next summer, i guess, i get a 4-month summer break from university. i wanna be in a travelling troupe :D then back to the degree.. best of both worlds

I am still writing my thesis, but I have already taken up a job as a software appliance governor for a large mental hospital. Thank god it's less computer-time and more busy with meetings, giving training to young nurses and following legislation and such. It's quite fun actually.

I've only recently started my PhD, I've been on the site for well over two years; So the vast majority of my posts were made before my PhD started (well over 7000 of them). Besides it hasn't exactly got into full swing yet, expect me to be posting a lot less in a few weeks.

I'm not working on natal, but my project is fairly similar in some respects I guess.

Did you do a PhD Dr.Grass? Hence the name.

No, it's actually a name from when I was in a hip hop band! LOL.

But some of my friends called me Dr during my Physics days as I wantet to do a PhD at some point and they thought it funny that a stoner was studying something like that.

But I will hopefully one day do a PhD in Topology as it's the most interesting thing I've ever enountered.

Well, it actually is. Not so much the training because that usually just involves me sitting on my ass surfing the web and sometimes responding to questions - which is usually "the button is over there to the right of the screen". No, I like that less then three months in the job and I'm already surpassing the secretaries, working in a project-group to facilitate a merger and am trusted enough to have full authorization over all of our cliënts and functionality - even when I'm at home :)
