Sony just bought rights to telecast FIFA World cup 2010 in 3d.Although home viewers will not be able to see 3d matches.Sony's selected fan sites will have 3D telecast's around the world.

This is huge promotion to Sony's 3D TV's launch next year as FIFA World Cup is the most watched show in the world.Its viewership is estimated 2b around the world.
