Hmmm Lets see

1. I will never wear glasses to watch TV

2. It is impossible to have the tech for non glasses 3d applied to multiple viewers in the same room.

Therefore I will never be able to watch 3d TV with another human being.

Why do companies act like such total tools...........3d TV is a non starter.

Its all possible, you just need more than 1 glasse, actually it usually sell per kit of 2.

I refer you to clause 1

Than state only clause 1 next time.

But Clause 2 references non 3d glasses tech. So you must have been referencing clause 1. Or am I missing something ?

Ok I understand what you meant sorry, but actually the 3D tech from philips without glasses can work from any viewing angle inside 180. It allows multiple viewers without glasses, but it is really expensive and theres not a lot of media supported on it. It needs media specificaly program for the TV.

Fellas...Nvidia 3D Vision works with Avatar on 360...and Im guessing PS3. Just tested it now and it works great.

Since they re only PC compatible, you have to trick the glasses and turn on the 3D effect on the PC by watching a 3D movie which is looping...but then you switch the source your 360 is on, turn on the 3D effect. BAM!

This is sweet...

Sorry, sony is too late. I can do it with my samsung and the 360 :)

Read my previous post, they want to make it easily accessible by getting rid of the computer in between. And yes, avatar on PS3 is in 3D too as is legend of han tao.

Now that is interesting.

IMHO that is tech that will work. I had previously thought the non glasses tech was a single viewer only deal, but if this is possible it changes the picture somewhat.

If you'll pardon the pun.

I read that on the avatar forums weeks ago but will have to wait til chrimbo day to try it as that's when I get my 3d kit.

Better make sure I rent avatar. Good to hear the effect is good. Any degregation in the graphics quality because of the 3d effect?

no, looks good. The game was designed with this in mind. Im curious what the PC version looks like now. This makes the game almost worth playing.

Which TV/monitor and which glasses are you planning to use for this?

If Sony doesn't start now then it won't get done.

Sony is always at the beginning of every major technological advancement in the last 20 years.

They have fought to bring things to consumers whether they succeed or fail.

It isn't like sony is going to force this down our throats with PS3......they need something for PS4.

Sorry had to put that in bold as i just lol'd too hard!

"...the best way to prepare [to be a programmer] is to write programs, and to study great programs that other people have written. In my case, I went to the garbage cans at the Computer Science Center and fished out listings of their operating system." - Bill Gates (Microsoft Corporation)

Bill Gates had Mac prototypes to work from, and he was known to be obsessed with trying to make Windows as good as SAND (Steve's Amazing New Device), as a Microsoft exec named it. It was the Mac that Microsoft took for its blueprint on how to make a GUI.

lol...yeah you should be good. Does the monitor have 2 HDMI/DVI ports? You have to leave the PC plugged in and then switch to the xbox360 on another port...

Arggh no just 1.
Well thats out the window.

Not all hope is lost. You can try getting an HDMI switch...and boot the Pc up and then switch to the xbox when you have a movie looping.

That way the PCs HDMI is still plugged in to a powered HDMI port and glasses may not stop flickering...

May not work tho so Best buy + receipt for a return is your best bet if you are looking to try :)
