Did you like Solaris? Because that's the only one. Oh and maybe Hard Candy.

Other than completely and utterly missing the point of the book, I thought the movie was alright.
Seriously, I don't know why they changed what the phrase "I Am Legend" was about... the original idea was SO MUCH cooler.
As a stand-alone movie, it's not terrible but what they did to the original theme of the book is downright criminal.

I didn't read the book, I'm sure if I did I'd hate it more. But it's the same hero crap, apocalypse, some brave american is valiant and he's a hero, and everyone happy, bla bla bla. Couldn't be more cliched

Read this and let me know what you think about what "I am legend." truly means in the novel. From wiki:
"Neville goes to his prison window and gets a glimpse of all the infected milling around in the yard waiting for his execution. When they spot him, he sees the fear, awe and horror in their eyes and he understands to them he is a scourge, just as they were a scourge to him at the beginning of the novel. Previously Neville saw the destruction of the infected survivors as a right and a moral imperative to be pursued for his own and mankind's survival, but now he finally acknowledges defeat. He is the only known immune human left in the world, the only survivor of the "old race".
He glimpses a future society where infection is normal and he, Neville, is a murderous biological deviant. As he turns away and swallows the pills, Neville grasps the reversal that has taken place and that just as vampires were legend in pre-infection times now he, an obsolete exemplar of old humanity, is legend in the eyes of the new race born of the infection. The sheer ridiculousness of it all causes Neville to chuckle as he dies, his last thoughts being "[I am] a new superstition entering the unassailable fortress of forever. I am legend.""
Just how much more incredibly cool is that than the shitfest ending the movie went with? I am really sick and tired of watching Will Smith rape great stories on film.

Um...The dog was really, really good. That's the only positive. Will Smith gets a big "OH HELL NO" from me for that movie.

But it had zombies!
That alone makes it great.
Zombies = :)

Hmmm, interesting, well, it certainly made me think more than all the movie, that's for sure
And I hate dogs, so that's another minus for the movie

Oh, and I'll second whoever nominated I, Robot. Anyone who has read that book wants to kick Will Smith in the nuts so badly that it hurts their heart.
