i don't really care what it looks like, so long as its gameplay is the best. Other people may be willing to sacrafice gameplay for graphics but I won't and I hope Bungie doesn't either.
Tease.

Halo has always been the king of gameplay.
I'm pretty sure Bungie won't do such stupidity to prove something.
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
The graphics will be fine. Halo 3 was using a relatively old engine (upgraded though). But Bungie has not received the graphics praise they actually deserve for Halo 3. Sure, it lacks AA and runs at Sub-HD, but the amount of special effects, transparencies, reflection, lighting, and especially the real-time rendered ships of a mile long or bigger and amazing draw distances in the landscape, they are actually features of top notch optimization.. And that's not even taking the AI, amount of enemies and physics into account. And they optimized the DVD as well and that's why installing the game ruins the loading times and performance. This is supposed to be a new engine from scratch. Also, see this comparison between the three halo games, and you'll see how much the graphics have actually improved. I have no doubt that Halo Reach will be top notch on gameplay, but graphics will also have a leap above Halo 3.

^ You forgot the sound man... geez they will like ban you from Halo 3 or something for that. they devote almost one core to it.
Oh yeah they optimised for using the HDD when present as a cache which is why it slowed down as when you install it, it reads from the HDD to write back to the HDD and at the same time its trying to read off the HDD to memory. HDDs don't perform well trying to read on one point in the disc and write on another at the same time.
Tease.
Yeah sorry. I can't always remember everything lol.
