disolitude, in your opinion which game has a better single player campaign, Halo 3 or ODST?

@JGarret

Single player as in 1 person playing, ODST by quite a strech.
Single player as in campaign coop with friends, Halo 3 by a large amount.

ODST doesn't work well with coop at all cause the experience is subtle and not in your face. Halo 3 on Legendary and with 2 or 3 freinds is amazing, prolly best coop experience this gen. However, ODST played alone on Heroic or legendary is quite an experience as well.

I'd give the edge to Halo 3 due to replay value.

@disolitude

I forgot to ask you...is ODST single player campaign longer than the Halo 3 one?..or about the same lenght?

We all know the gameplay is going to be amazing.

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Its a very variable question. Like if you play ODST the first time, on heroic or legendary and alone. Be prepared for 10+ hours. The city hub which everything is based out of is quite large and since you are not a spartan, you have to use stealth and skill to avoid fights as much as possible.

If you play with 2-3 freinds and put it on normal...its like...4-5 hours...lol.

Game is based out of flashbacks which occur when your "Rookie" soldier reaches a clue or an area where something important happened. Almost each flashback is different soldier so there is lots of variety in gameplay.

Game is much better paced than Halo 3 for single play. But there are not a lot of those..."lets get in the Jeep or tank and plow these fucks" moments...until the very last mission :) Its a more humble experience.

I can't wait for the preorder-charts after this trailer is shown.

So this will be first @VGA, but I guess it will be available on Xbox Live a few hours later.

I do not care about the VGA (I don't even believe reviews), but the games they are gonne show really got me interested:

  1. Halo Reach
  2. Crackdown 2
  3. Medal of Honor
  4. UFC Undisputed 2010

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

The fact that Halo: Reach charted already tells us how big it will be when it releases.

Halo Reach is going to be the release of 2010...you can quote me on it!

I just hope they keep split screen multiplayer/co-op but its Bungie and I have the utmost faith in them. So is there any way of streaming the show online if we don't have access to the Spike channel? I think I do but I'm not absolutely sure.
