  1. Your GTAIV disc is probably dirty or you need to clear your cache (google it).  Try clearing the cache on your 360 first,I had the same problem with Bioshock and clearing the cache fixed it.  If that doesn't help, clean your disk.  Finally, if that doesn't help, install the game if neither of those work.  If none of those work, rent the game and try another disc and see what happens.
  2. Are these the same discs it sometimes reads and sometimes doesnt?
  3. Do you have a lot of wireless devices that can interfere?

For 2 and 3, if you don't have a lot of wireless devices interfering, try contacting MS tech support.

1. i`ll try to clear the cache but i will have to google it first
2.yes those are the same discs
3. my laptop has wireless my wii is conected wirelessm, the pc in my room is wireless, the wiimotes are wireless, and my mobile/cell phone is wireless! should i switch some wireless devices off?

For the discs, try the same above methods.  Go to Wal-Mart and buy a cheap disc cleaner and see if that helps and clear your 360 cache.  If they keep freezing, try renting them and see what happens.

As for wireless stuff, that could be it, I'm only guessing there since I don't know a lot about that.  I'm pretty sure the spinning lights means it's searching for a signal, weak signal, or weak battaries so that's the only reason I'm guessing that.

ehm clearing the cache is for the HDD isnt it? well i only have an arcade console

Hmm, I'm not 100% on that.  I'd say it couldn't hurt to try.

Does the controller disconnect after it vibrates? If so, there are two solutions for this:-
1- Turn off vibration.
2- Or buy a rechargeable battery pack instead.

ok thx guys i`ll try all these things ypu said but if there are more ppl who know something please post

Maybe try a different controller. Borrow a friend's or buy one at a place where you can return it hassle free if that doesn't fix your controller issue. Otherwise it just sounds like your disk is effed up. Good luck and let us know how you make out.

I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Try everyone's advice and if non of that works I can show you a method to RROD your 360 and send it in for free repairs so that they fix everything thats wrong with the console. Although I usually reserve that method for extreme cases like the laser or graphic card dying.
