We rarely see a thread here dedicated to the original Xbox, so it's about time we have one! It's brief, but impressive run saw quite a few great games, some of which are and will most certainly be remembered as classics and the first games by noted PC developers on consoles. Tell when you got your Xbox, what your favorite games were, how much you liked it then and now, and any other nostalgic feelings you might have!

I got my Xbox at launch. Some of my favorite games were Halo 1 and 2, KOTOR 1 and 2,  the Splinter Cell series, GTA: San Andreas, and Fusion Frenzy (hey, for a party game, it was fun) If I had time, I'd like to go play Jade Empire, Fable, Morrowind, and finish Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath. It was a fun console even though I didn't have Xbox Live then, and that's probably what it's likely to be remembered for the most.

So how about you fellow Xbox owners?

Man did I enjoy the hell outta Bloodwake. I really wish they'd make a 360 version. I also got my first taste of XBL crack with Unreal Tournament, that was fun as shit. The great introduction of streaming music was sweet. Oh and those hideous but glorious huge ass controllers. I still think that those break-away controller cables were the shit too... crazy how fast a great idea became obsolete.

Let see... other games... Panzer Dragoon Orta was sweet, Max Payne, Wraith Unleased, Rallysport Challenge, Morrowind, Halo 1&2, Madden 05, NFL2k5 :), LOTR II & III and RPG, Crimson Skies, X-Men Legends, and alot more that I just can't think of atm. I loved the Xbox for sure.

Halo 2 online. I played the shit out of it for 2 ears straight. Amazing game.
KotOR is one of my favorite RPG's I've ever played and one of the reasons I bought an Xbox.

Fable, Crimson Skies, Mechassault, ESPN NFL 2k5 were also some of my favorites that I had to mention.

to bad I played most of those games on PC even tho my bro owned an xbox lol but yea they some great games

started Xbox Live with Moto GP. Awesome times back then.

Loved Halo 1 / 2, Fable, CounterStrike, TopSpin and Ghost Recon

this is the only xbox moment i have: HALO!!! haha, i'm sure i missed out on a ton more but at that time i didn't really care much about consoles, so ps2 and xbox was nothing to me....gamecube on the other hand....haha, i WAS a ninty fanboy in the ps2 era. =P

Teh best game i played on the xbox was fight night. I didnt really like the xbox though. I enjoyed the PS2, Gamecube, dreamcast, more.

Not to mention that i got most of the xbox games for PC instead. Thats probably the reason. Or thing might be very different today

Stranger's Wrath was amazing indeed

Halo 1-2, Oddworld: Munch's Odyssey and Stranger's Wrath (some of my favorites, though the first 2 Oddworlds were better, IMO), BreakDown (the most underrated game ever), Kingdom Under Fire, and all of its Splinter Cell games.
