Well if they aren't goijng to official release a game for their market you can hardly expect them to promote it by putting in a GOTY list can you (Demon's Souls).

I think some worthy games got the shaft at the hands of an expansion pack (Ballad of Gay Tony). FM3 should be there ahead of that title. If it's the best driving game of the generation on consoles at the moment, bar none, then it's a travesty for it to not be in the official top 10. It either means driving games are crap this gen so far (doubtful), or there is an anti-driving game bias at IGN AU (more likely).

I'm glad to see DLC only games in a GOTY list up against the great and the mighty (and the mighty expensive) disc based games.

Still the end result being UC2 as GOTY is the right outcome IMO. Watch most other GOTY awards follow suit. I'll be looking forward to buying the Uncharted 2 GOTY edition early next year.

It sucks that neither Demon's Souls nor Left 4 Dead 2 were legitimate contenders, because of release issues (yeah, L4D2 made it to Australia, in a horribly butchered state).

My only complaints otherwise were the placement of Brutal Legend and Trials HD.
